Alot of people agree that the song makes fun of Christianity, it's not 100% certain though.) Though ofcourse, it could also be like Avenged Sevenfold, just writing a song about Christianity, instead of against it, I doubt it though. |

Bawwww I think you're right. I never actually read the lyrics, I just like how it sounds. Like in the "Why'd you leave your keys up on the table" part he might be talking about when Jesus gave Peter the keys. And in the "father" part I thought he was saying the f word or something. I just finished watching the music video too.. I hate the bald guy with the big bug eyes ><; Anyway, who better to make sing that song than a badguy hm? P: I'm not a big fan of SOAD, save for a few songs. The reason I stopped liking them is because most of their stuff is all anti government. Oh FFFF sing about how bad it is :D And change nothing 8D! |

Actually Dark I think on the last verse he's talking about when Lucifer (Satins name before he was dammed to hell) thought of himself to be a god. I really don't think System of a Down is smart enough to really even know anything you guys are talking about. A lot of their songs just sound like gibberish. I say they just put a lot of words together that could be seen as controversial, and expect people to make their own beliefs on what their yelling about. :) |
